Central theme:
We talked about our holiday eating habits, gathering feedback of our rough spots, and what we did to combat them.
Under Laughs-
Ate like a pig
Food coma
Fell off the wagon
Under Leaps-(how we had victory over our foibles)
Behave 80%, Play 20%; we don't have to be perfect.
Decide to do the opposite when we have a bad day
Realization of self-awareness.... we are different than we were a year ago.
We also spent time in our new WW booklet #3: Think First. On pages 9 thru 11 are simple quiz questions that identify the areas we need help. It's called the Habit Profile. I scored high in the take care of yourself category. Guess I'll be working on spending more time on Nathan this week, and hopefully the weeks to come. This is a sizable booklet from WW with a lot of good info. If you didn't get one this week, swing by the Center and pick one up.
Thoughts for the week:
We touched on the idea of our anchors again. I think this is a powerful thing that most of us haven't tapped in to. I'll let you know when I find a good one.
Most of us did well over the holidays in regard to our eating choices. We made smarter choices, and didn't go completely out of control as compared to previous years. And, even if we did, we have the know-how and tools to get back on track.
Work thru the quiz in Think First, and address the issues where you need help.

Nothing we do in our diet can't be undone.
Diet/exercise is a journey with a 1000 starts.
